Humidifiers - Aprilaire® & Trane®
Both brands we carry allow you to really take control of humidity inside your home. In doing so, you'll maximize your comfort. Besides temperature, nothing impacts comfort more than humidity. If you ever hopped off a plane in a topical zone you know how true this is. Truly to optimize comfort a home needs whole-home humidification and dehumidifiers that work. Levels of humidity need to be contained within a fairly narrow range.
Too Little Humidity
When you heat your home it dries out your air. The dry air absorbs moisture from you and everything inside your home.
Too Much Humidity
Day-to-day activities, such as breathing, cooking, and doing laundry, can add nearly 25 pounds of moisture to a home a day. Learn how to control to much humidity.
Manage Humidity Levels Throughout Your Home with Aprilaire Home Comfort Control™
With Home Comfort Control from Aprilaire, you get a single, easy-to-operate control that can be used in place of your thermostat. It works in tandem with Aprilaire humidifiers, dehumidifiers and other indoor air quality equipment to help you to manage humidity, temperature, air purity and freshness—all with the touch of a button.
Manage Humidity Levels with Trane®
These humidifier units use a humidity-sensing control that cycles the humidifier on and off and a water panel that adds water vapor to the circulated air when needed. Relative humidity is the amount of moisture in the air expressed as a percentage of the maximum amount that the air is capable of holding at a specific temperature. In dry air conditions, the sensor tracks that percentage and adjusts the amount of added water vapor, giving your skin the moisture it needs and helping to keep any personal belongings, such as wood floors, furnishings, and keepsakes, from drying out.
